Punishable Offenses 

Hacking

You can diet and drink green drinks, but you can't dope. Okay?

Allowed modifications

Some modifications are allowed since they do not give the player an unfair advantage, but instead simply improve gameplay through minor graphics and performance enhancements.

  3. Badlion client
  4. Other, similar clients

Disallowed modifications (hacks)

  1. Reach, increases reaching distance of player
  2. Killaura, allows player to hit multiple other players at once
  3. Fly, allows player to fly when they are not supposed to
  4. Other modifications which give the player powers many consider to be, unnatural

Advertising

You can tell some friends about a neat server you found or your Discord server, but you can't use us like we're Google Ads. Seem reasonable?

Acceptable

  1. "Hey, I found this server play.tetrahedron.io"
  2. "Hello friends, here's a Discord server I made for us"
  3. These are acceptable so long as they are directed at one or more players, you cannot just send messages into the void hoping people join whatever you're promoting. 

Unacceptable

  1. Repeated messages about a Minecraft server, Discord server, YouTube channel, merch store, etc.
  2. Repeatedly PMing players about a Minecraft server, Discord server, YouTube channel, merch store, etc. Players must report PMs to the staff as we do not monitor them. 

Soliciting Information

You can ask a friend for some contact info, but you can't ask random people.
DO NOT ask for or share contact information in a public chat channel.

Acceptable

  1. "Hey, can I have your Discord so we can call to play MC together?"
  2. "Hey, can I add you on Insta? I wanna message you outside Minecraft"
  3. You can do this in a PRIVATE MESSAGE (/msg), but NOT in a public chat channel. Sharing contact information in a public chat channel is a great way to expose yourself to sexual predators, identity theft, spam, and many other headache inducing (sometimes illegal) things. 

Unacceptable

  1. "Hey, anyone wanna share nudes on Discord?"
  2. "Add me on Discord SuperPredator#1234"
  3. "Give me your Insta right f*ing now"
  4. "How old are you? Are u pretty? Add me on Discord and let's chat"
  5. NEVER respond to this type of message or any message soliciting contact/personal information in a forceful or otherwise unwanted way.
  6. ALWAYS report it to our staff and if you're under 18 or feel it is necessary tell a parent/guardian. We will handle it, we will ban the user, we will report it to the authorities. 

Harassment

You can say things that aren't polite, but don't be a jerk.
We are NOT responsible for ANYTHING our users say or do on our servers. If you say or do something stupid, that's on you.

Acceptable (things that might be mean, but aren't harassment)

  1. "What a noob"
  2. "Ur so gay"

Unacceptable

  1. Slurs of any kind. 
  2. Doxing of any kind for any reason. Sharing real names, addresses, gamer tags, usernames, email addresses, etc. Any content with this intent will be removed and the poster will be banned without exception.

Inappropriate Content

  1. Any word, object, phrase, action, etc. which is overtly sexual. 
  2. Anything illegal such as murder, theft, rape, fraud, etc.

Every report of an offense is taken seriously and will result in punishment of the offender unless there is inconclusive evidence or it is deemed a false report. 

Please Don't 

These are still punishable, but are enforced at the staff's discretion. 

Discuss Politics

Politics are heated, controversial, and simply frustrating today. We want Tetrahedron to be an escape from politics and everyday life for everyone, left, right, and center. So please, refrain from discussing politics in our public chat channels or forums. It helps everyone have a better time on Minecraft, a better day, and a better life. 

Be Overly Dramatic

Dramatic things happen. Someone breaks up, someone's cheating, your guy talks to another girl 5 seconds too long, we get it. But there's no need to be a drama queen (or king) about it, there's no need to gossip about it, and there's no need to blow it out of proportion. If drama and gossip are what keep you going, you've got other problems, and you're going to bring everyone down because drama and gossip bring everyone down, every time, no exceptions. 
Please don't be dramatic, please don't gossip, please don't blow things out of proportion.
